And he asked him,
What is thy name?
And he answered, saying,
My name is Legion:
For we are many...

It emerges from the depths of each individual being.
A charged luminescence that represents the life force.
Every human being's eternal core: The soul. At death,
this ethereal presence exists outside the body and
can thrive there and can do so forever...unless...
it awakens among the dead...unless...
it has come to the Deadside.

And then that soul is tortured.

And then that soul feels the deep writhing pain of the hell
bound immortal coil. It feels the suffering of all eternity and
lives a horror known only to those who have endured the
greatest evil. This Deadside burden is all there is and all
there ever will be...unless...the soul can return to the
corporeal...unless..they may awaken in Liveside.

And then the world will know their pain.

And lo, beware, of the terror unleashed when the gates
swing wide to their hardened malevolence. For it is then
that Revelation comes to pass and The Five will rise and lead
the many. For they seek to unburden their souls with a blight
that will darken the sun and scar the earth with real
and utter death...unless...one is chosen to stand against
them...unless...he who is chosen delivers God's wrath.

And then the universe will echo with the cries of the
damned.
For his sacrifice will destroy them all.
