Hey everyone. I just want to send out my prayers to anyone who lost a family member or friend in the tragedy today. I have lost 1 person...I can't even begin to describe what I'm feeling right now. I live in New Jersey..about 30-60 min away from where it happened. This has been the worst day in my life. Even school was hard. As the school day progressed, we could tell something was up because the teachers were all whispering and kids kept on getting called down to the office to go home. We asked the teachers what was going on, but some of them didnt know and the ones who did know said they weren't allowed to tell us. (Probably so they wouldent freak us out). Most of the teachers were crying...maybe because they lost family or probably from the shock and sadness of what happened. Most of the teachers managed to act normal. I knew sumthin was up when we went to math class. The teacher said we should pray. (now thats pretty weird considering the normal classes we have). So while we were praying, we heard this loud noise above us. The teacher just looked out the window and didnt say anything. I knew she was crying. (Later I found out that noise were the military fighter planes going to new york). So then I finally got called down to go home early and when my dad picked me up, he told me what was going on. I was in shock. I never thought something this bad would ever happen. This was even worse the Pearl Harbor. And when we got home and my mom came home, we all watched the coverage on TV and the plane crashing into the building. I could barely watch it because it was so sad. The person who I lost works on the 109th floor..and she had just gotten off the phone with her mom and my aunt. She had just hung up the phone, and then the plane crashed. It was so sad. I'm very scared rite now. My friends aunt had to walk 84 blocks to get home to New Jersey b/c she workes in NY. And my friends aunts boyfriend was one of the people who were rite next to the building when it crashed. You could see him in the news...he was running and I felt so bad for him. He is ok...just in shock. They say on the news that this is not over yet. I have to stop now...MY PRAYERS GO OUT TO ALL WHO HAVE LOST LOVED ONES.
