I am a 21-year-old female university student.I study English Literature(or Philology,if you prefer)at the university of Veliko Turnovo.I am in my 3rd year now,as you could conclude from my age.I am originally from Plovdiv-the city which has captured my heart forever.
When I graduate my most probable occupation will be that of a teacher in some school or a translator,if I have good luck.I'd like to get to know more people who have already earned their BA or MA degrees in English Literature and work as translators or whatever connected with the language.

1. With reference to your university major I would like to note that there is some difference between English Literature and English Philology (although the latter is rarely used by native speakers of English). Philology (I prefer to stick to the term already introduced in order to avoid any further misunderstanding) comprises the study of language as well and not only the study of literature. I would even mention that linguistics is the basis of philology if we are allowed to use this term.

2. If you are a teacher you are a teacher AT some school not IN.

3. The "good luck" issue was already discussed so I would like to move on to the next issue.

4. And this happens to be the phrase " whatever connected to the language". To me this seems Bulgish - that is a Bulgarian sentence with English words translated word for word. Bulgish as a term is popular among translators and interpreters. "Related" is a better option because connection implies some physical connection.

We used to call it Bunglish (Bulgarian English) back in school. No further comments :))

Reference is made to Bulgish and not Bunglish.
As you see there is some difference between these two clippings. Bunglish may be student slang but Bulgish is popular among interpreters.
