Niakoi uspia li da nameri veche niakakva versia na ICQ, koito ne varti otvratitelnite banneri v msg dialog-a.

Ili pone niakakvo obiasnenie, kak da se premahnat ili izolirat.
AtGuard-a naprimer ne gi premahva...

Close ICQ.
Open Registry Editor (Start > Run > enter regedit in the blank field)
1. HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Mirabilis\ICQ\DefaultPrefs
* Locate " auto update" and change Value to "NO"
2. Go to ICQ Dir. and delete:
icqateima32.dll (removes advertisement downloading)
icqateimg32.dll (removes the loading of images)
icqateres.dll (removes part of the advertisement function)
3. Go to folder "Partner" in your ICQ Dir, open the .xml file and delete all the text in there and make all the files in that directory Read-Only (right click and check read only)
3. Replace your original ICQCore.dll with the modified one:
ICQCore.dll (For 2000b v4.60)
ICQCore.dll (For 2000a build 3143)
It might not work with any other version other than the one mention, but it might.

How to disable AUTO UPDATE

1. Open Registry Editor (Start > Run > enter regedit in the blank field)
2. -HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Mirabilis\ICQ\Owners\(Your UIN)\Prefs\Auto Update
-HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Mirabilis\ICQ\DefaultPrefs\Auto Update
3. Just locate a key value named "Auto Update" and change it's value to "No" to prevent ICQ from updating itself to display ads.
