Thank you I thank you for loving me And I thank you for leaving me Otherwise how would I know What it means to be loved? I thank you for wanting me But I do not thank you For wanting all the other Women of the world. I thank you for the good times And I hate you for the bad times. But for all of the reasons Which I have to thank you for Bringing me to a foreign land And leaving me alone With a baby on my hands Is not one I feel thankful for. I thank you for loving me And I thank God That He helped me Survive it.
