They were more times than not contraversial, but he spoke his mind and talked about the reality of his life, whether it was pretty or not. -------------------------------------------------------------------------------- There is an obvious change now, in the way rap has gone. Hip-hop is the culture and the feeling of the music, so that will always be as powerful as it ever was, but rap- the industry end of hip-hop has taken a downfall. PUFFY, MASE, LIL KIM, NAS, BADBOY RECORDS AS A WHOLE, AND MANY OF THE SUDDENLY RICH AND FAMOUS RAPPERS TODAY ARE FAKE!!! These studio-gangsters, players, pimps, mafiosos, and kingpins are polluting the game. Tupac was a thug and there is no denying that, but he wasn't some one-song crowd pleaser that is seen more times on MTV than BET, like Badboy Records/Tha Firm. The video for the rappers delight remix is one of the only videos i have seen in the longest time, not counting 2pac videos, that could rock tha party without some flashy cars, women dressed in reflective outfits, and some baby-faced rapper talking about how much cash he has in his swiss accounts. All this garbage is the product of people like Sean Puffy Combs. With companies like Badboy records pumping out all this jive-half rap/half r+b, newly rich, over hyped bullsh*t that is putting a damper on real hip-hop. TUPAC NEVER GAVE RAP A BAD NAME- THE ONLY NAME HE GAVE RAP WAS REALITY, AND PEOPLE DONT LIKE THAT. WHAT PEOPLE LIKE IS HYPE- THE KIND OF GARBAGE THAT YOU SEE ON MTV RAP VIDEOS ALL THE TIME. -------------------------------------------------------------------------------- IT'S NOT ABOUT EAST OR WEST, ITS ABOUT NI**AZ AND BITCHEZ, POWER AND MONEY, RIDERZ AND PUNKS.
