Dear ..,
Our new and vastly improved Population Finder is launching in just a few weeks! Soon, you'll be able to dive into fresh insights about your ethnic origins. You'll also be able to compare your ethnicty with your Family Finder matches!
If you want to share your ethnic origins with your matches, you don't need to take any action. You'll automatically be able to compare your ethnicity with your matches when the new Population Finder becomes available. This is the recommended option.

Много бързо излязоха няколко нови рвзултатта за FаmilyFinder и FGS, но Population Finder си още стария. Тук има някакво упътване как ще изглежда:

Сейл ще има, но ще е доста мижав. Ще намалят с 20% само SNP тестовете и 37 маркера.
Но, много важно, готвят се да въведат най-сетне ново дърво за У хромозома и не е ясно кои SNP ще са включени.

We wanted you, the group administrators who have done so much to contribute to the success of the company, to know before we release the news to the entire Y database and the genetic genealogy community.
In addition to expanding the tree from 400 to 1000 terminal branches, the Haplotree page will have an updated, fresh design.
Our engineering team will begin to push the code that will update the database prior to the official release of the tree, so you'll see some changes in terminal SNPs and haplogroups for those who have done additional testing.
To help with the transition, our Webinar Coordinator, Elise Friedman will host a live webinar on DNA Day for a demonstration of the new tree and more details about this landmark update on Friday, April 25, 2014 @ 12pm Central (5pm UTC).

Thank you very much for helping us to become a global leader at individual Y chromosome SNP testing. In the mean time we've generated enough throughput so that our suppliers have granted us volume discounts for the reagents that we use in our laboratory. We want to pass this on to our own customers, therefore we've started an early Father's Day Special. All SNPs are immediately reduced to $25 (18.51€) and will stay at this level until (including) June 15th 2014. Just look at [линк] and check out the newest developments in your haplogroup. You'll notice that we have more than 1300 individual SNP markers available now which have all been developed within the last 5 months. We are permanently updating our information on Ybrowse ([линк]) and we're constantly communicating our findings to the haplogroup representatives that take care of the ISOGG tree.
If you don't find your specific SNP of interest don't worry. Just reply to this email and ask us what you're looking for. You have found a large list of SNP candidates and you don't know where to start testing? YSEQ still offers this FREE service to evaluate your SNP candidates for molecular genetic stability. Just send us your list of markers and we'll check if we can predict possible problems with your SNP candidates. You can then reduce your list from problematic regions and you'll not waste your money on markers that have unstable phylogenetic properties. Send us your list and we'll give you a honest evaluation.
If you have more han 8 SNPs that you want to test for yourself or better for a closely related person (like your father or brother), then don't forget to ask us for a significant discount. Pipetting a whole row in a microplate is much easier for us, therefore we're happy to share this reduction of labor with you by offering a better price. Same is true if you want to order a single SNP for a large group, like test all your cousins for your very private family SNP. Y-SNP testing is very personal, therefore make use of YSEQ's flexibility as a small company and let us process your very individual research project.
Isn't this a very unique present for father's day? Unfortunately I can't give my own father such a gift anymore, but at least I was able to get a DNA sample from him when he was still around. This is certainly a way to show him how much you appreciate what you've inherited from your father.

ха, ха-докато се бутах из сайтовете и не можех да изкарам 37 маркера, без да искам влязох с номера на кита за мтДНК и се оказа, че и там има редукция с 30 долара за 67 маркера. Може би защото няма да ми пращат втори кит за проба. Та направих поръчка за Y-67 за 238 долара. Колко време се чака кита? Вече мина почти месец.

ха, ха-никакъв кит нямам, а само номер на кита, който чакам да пристигне от края на март-пролетната примоция за мтДНА. До като ги чакам да взема да си пусна и един автозомен тест-от икономията вследствие примоциите . И така и така съм на шизопараноидна позиция

Днес стана видима бета версията на новия Population finder test, който ще се нарича вече My origins test.
Засега е достъпен само за адмоинистраторите, които тряба да докладват за бъгове.
Както виждам, ще има много да се докладва, всичко на екрана е едно върху друго, бутоноите и връзките не са ясни и пр. Но това е техническата страна. Все още нямам мнение доколко достоверна е фактическата.
Както и предишния Population Finder ФТДНА за разлика от 23андМе набляга много повече на Middle east.
Доколкото предледах, българите са средно 70-80% Euroрean и 20-30% Middle East. До сега не видях някой да има East Asian. Това допълнително се разбива на подгрупи. Ето резултата на дъщеря ми:
Europeаn - 80%
- North Mediterranen Basin - 42%
- Trans Ural peneplain - 28%
- European Northlands - 10%
Middle Eastern - 20%
- Anatolian Crossroad - 18%
- Eastern Afroasiatic - 2%
Ето резултата на друг българин, ако форумците разрешават, мога да публикувам и техните:
European - 75%
- North Mediterranen Basin - 48%
- Trans Ural peneplain - 27%

Относно процентите European и Middle East, изглежда има разлика при някои хора. Не си спомням точно, но май преди дъщеря ми беше около 30% Middle East и показваше Jewish и Causcasus. Сега се намали на 20% и Jewish изчезна. Други хора, обратно показваха към 100% European (дето бяха близки на румънците), а сега са 30% Middle east.
Яне, това са твоите резултати. Близки са до тези на дъщеря ми, но разбивката е леко различна. При теб напълно липсва European Nortlands като при дъщеря ми или European Coastal plain като при някои други българи. Т.е ти си си повече Източноевропеец, защото Trans Ural peneplain се свързва с тях.

Да, имам предвид твоите роднини по бащина линия. Тези от страна на майка ти и мъжа ти явно не влизат в бройката. Виждам и една жена Воска с високо Middle East като твоя роднина, която изглежда не е в проекта.

По-скоро с нетърпение чакам мъжката хаплогрупа на 331351. В момента тя ме вълнува повече.
Иначе почти всички са качени в Gedmatch и там съм ги проиграла през Еurogenes....
Да, има три жени от моите китове, които не са в проекта. Те са само с FF, защото тяхната mtDNA вече е тествана при други роднини по майчина линия
