Hi.



CPM stands for (C)ontrol, (P)resentation, (M)odel.



Each and every aspect of dealing with your machine (programs) is logically 

represented by:



 * Control:

    Control{s} the application in a certain way loading Persentation{s} 

    according to it's calling parameters



 * Presentation:

    Presents the Model of the application in a readable format for the user

    Presentation* -> Model

 

 * Model:

    The inner part of the application that user doesn't see or have access to.

    The Presentation is loaded by the Control, and the user controls the 

    application through Control + a given presentation (or more) selected

    by the application of Control.

    

    User has access to a certain Model{'s} Presentation through a given 

    Control:

        Presentation ->> Model -> Control: how?

        (Control: how? ~ Model ~ Presentation)



    Also it has some action statement associated with it:

        Control: how? 

            ~ Model ~ Presentation =>

                Action -> statement



 ! * Actions are callbacks which are rendered by how? statements after 

    succesful Interpretation. They are not part of the core.

    Interpretation is the part of your Control ~ Presentation which 

    renders an action in a specific Context -of an> Action

    Each Action is interpeted in a given Context which modifies the way

    it renders.



 ! * Infrastructure:

    Infrastructure is a special portion of a Model which has no associated 

    Control{s} with it.

    

    For instance, your application's model might have OS specific functions

    which only the general part *knows:* how to manipulate and execute.
