I don't know anything about that. I know that I am against universal healthcare coverage, and I know that I don't want to help poor people live better. I thought that was what the movie was about based on what I know about Moore. If the movie is about soaring healthcare costs, then Michael Moore has finally thought about me, the hardworking American.

btw, as Moore himself points out in the movie (watch the movie, it's worth seeing, even if you don't agree with his point of view) we do have universal services provided and controlled by the government--postal services, police, fire dept., (I'm missing a couple, just escaped my mind)--and that does not make the USA a socialist country...so


and healthcare is the most basic necessity that I can personally think of,...soooo, what's the problem??

It would be too time consuming to debate over a potential federal government universal healthcare coverage guarantee here. I am personally against it, and the United States ruled by the majority of the people does not make such guarantee. Most people who post in this forum are very rude. They are not well educated, and they are not professionals. Even though I am making a very reasonable statement, they would personally attack me. I posted my inital comment just because you were the one who started the thread. I really don't want to argue with people like jaime, ease, etc.

I wouldn't mind talking to you about politics, if that's what you wanna do. Let me know next time you come to Boston.
