the Tudors on Showcase? What do you think? Season 1 recently ended, and I found I'm missing it. I know historians don't like it, but the lavish display of antique furniture and the unabashed physical appeal of the actors help offset the factual inacuracies. Well, when you think about it, Henry's marital dramas were the equivalent of a juicy soap opera in his lifetime. I'm waiting for the movie to come out later this year.

Wow, there IS something we agree on! The world doesn't cease to amaze me.

Now, I would never harbor the ambition to be "the greatest" anything, but don't worry about my TV-viewing habits. I am just a sucker for stories about Henry and his wives, especially the way the women in his life are portrayed by contemporary writers. I wish I had taken more history classes.

Taking History classes was tough. I had to take 4 mandatory ones. I failed one of them, so I had to stay all summer long locked up studying when all my friends were having fun at the beach. History classes are sooooooooo painful.

You don't listen to any Eastern European or Arabic music? If that's the case, you're good to go. You may not have a problem. Too much exposure to the Bulgarian language or the Bulgarian culture is usually a problem. That's all. Not everyone here knows this.
