Ivanova et al., Tissue Antigens, 2002, p496 "HLA polymorphism in
Bulgarians defined by high-resolution typing methods in comparison with
other populations" conducted DNA research on the Bulgarian population
and compared with other European nations. This study found that the
Bulgarian DNA is sitting on the edge of the European genetic data. The
standard genetic distance showed Macedonian and Bulgarian DNA is
distant by 260. The results show that Macedonians have the same genetic
distance from the Bulgarians as they have from Romanians and Greeks.
"Observation of some Oriental alleles, such as B*5201, confirms the
contribution of Orientals to the genetic diversity of our population,
as defined previously based on HLA class I generic data. Additionally,
allele variants considered as rare for Europeans could be correlated to
specific population groups and could make populations comparisons more
discriminative. Alleles A*0211, A*3004, A*8001, B*2707, and DRB1*0410
have been detected in different Asian populations and probably were
incorporated into Bulgarians during the invasion by Turkic tribes
between the 7th and 15th centuries on the Balkan Peninsula.
Additionally, Bulgars are considered to be of central Asian origin and
some of these alleles could be a result of migration, conquest and
assimilation of different central and south Asian Turkic people."
"Additionally, two haplotypes considered to be of Eurasian origin were
detected in the Bulgarians with a frequency of
0.0091:A*02011-B*0801-DRB1*03011 (A*02-B*08-DRB1*0301, observed with
the highest frequency in the Mongolians and less commonly in some of
the Europeans) and A*2402-B*1801-DRB1*1104 (A*24-B*18-DRB1*1104, found
in the Macedonians, Armenians and Italians)."

Разликата не е 260, а 2.60 и съвсем не е еднакава както представяш нещата, а нараства чувствително при гърците и румънците.
Що се касае за монголоидните маркери при българите те са около 4%, при гърците 3%, при румънците 4%, при турците 5%, при руснаците 3%, при украинците 4% и т.н.
За македонците липсват точни данни, освен че са даказани такива, но чрез интерполация вероятно се касае за около 3%.
При негроидните гени нещата са по-ясни: на Балканите те са около 1%.
