Приемам поправката. Зависи как се разглежда това понятие.
Ако е по популярност, най-велики безспорно са Бийтълс. Ролинг Стоунс, Пинк Флойд и Лед Цепелин също са по-"големи" от "Дийп Пърпъл".
"Дийп Пърпъл" са най-великата и популярна ъндърграунд група в историята.
Като казвам "група" има предвид група от музиканти, а не шоумени и бизнесмени които могат и да свирят. Няма отдел "пъблик рилейшънс", няма политика, странични скандали, спектакли. Пълна скука за масовия слушател. Имат 130 000 000 продадени албума единствено заради музикалните им качества. Всяка песен и албум са характерни и различни с нещо- ето от къде идват коментарите. Всеки харесва нещо безрезервно и не приема другото за "Пърпъл" - този или онзи, този албум или друг, този период или друг...Това е "ДП" те не могат да са други. Пък и на кого му трябва? Който не ги харесва да слуша "Ролинг Стоунс" или "актуални изпълнители".

да те светна,това,че пърпъл са все още харесвани,слушани и 'обсъждани' говори само за това,че те наистина са една от най-великите банди...
истинската музика е вечна,пич.
а аз нямам нищо против да слушам и нещо ново,даже мноо ще се изкефя,ако чуя нещо стойностно,ама такова почти няма,няма...
много ми е интересно кои от актуалните изпълнители ще бъдат толкова слушани и обсъждани след 30г.,както Пърпъл......

да те светна,това,че пърпъл са все още харесвани,слушани и 'обсъждани' говори само за това,че те наистина са една от най-великите банди...
истинската музика е вечна,пич.
а аз нямам нищо против да слушам и нещо ново,даже мноо ще се изкефя,ако чуя нещо стойностно,ама такова почти няма,няма...
много ми е интересно кои от актуалните изпълнители ще бъдат толкова слушани и обсъждани след 30г.,както Пърпъл......

Най-добрият сайт за който аз знам, е в магазина. На мен всичката музика ми е от там. Всички дискове са си с диплянките вътре, с текстове, с информация, със снимки.......Обаче, струва 'чичко паричко'.
Аз, лично, който иска да вярва, който не иска - не.......имам само едно парче сваляно от нета и то поради това, че никога не съм го намерил в магазина. Едно парче на Джими Хендрикс.

And what has been happening in the Purple camp since then?
A tour in Europe, highly successful, partly with Alice Cooper and at
quite a few sold out venues. It actually started with a sold out show
in London.
A couple of weeks off and then they went on to South America. That
was their second time since the release of Rapture Of The Deep.
Next on the agenda is Australasia. New Caledonia, New Zealand, Numea,
Australia and Japan.
June/July will see the boys back in Europe for a couple of festivals.
From then on, well, keep an eye on the website. New dates will be
posted on the site as and when the management confirms them! Not
before. As usual, anything else is a rumor only and we really can't
answer any questions about future dates not on the site, as we don't
know.
And in between all of the above, Ian Gillan found time to record a
new solo CD called Gillan's Inn. From the first glance, any listener
will know they're in for a party inside 'Gillan's Inn'. In fact, if
the titlesymbolizes anything it's the roving celebration of life and
music that Gillan's professional life his been. 'Gillan's Inn' is
simply wherever he may be. For more information please visit http://

Metalexpressradio.com has a brilliant interview with Roger. They
transcribed it and posted it online. Now, Roger is already talking
about plans for a new album! Well, it won't happen before they are
done touring the world as is so we will have to wait a year or two
for that.

Radio Tatras International in Slovakia [линк] played a few tracks
from Rapture Of The Deep in late February. They also ran a
competition. The result was the servers for the text messaging system
braking down half way through the show and the service provider
ringing the station the next day to complain. Since then, the title
track of the album is now in the top 5 of people's choice chart. We
love that!

Two weeks later RTI ran a special on Don Airey's superb solo CD K2.
Signed copies of this CD is available through Don Airey's own website

Most of it has already sold out. We still have a bunch of black T-
shirts, ladies shirts (they are very nice and the silver print comes
out fine after several rounds in the washing machine) and a couple of
long sleeved shirts. Check them out.
