MySQL + настройки

Значи искам да направя на PC-то си MySQL сървър за да мога да инстлна " Легендата за зеления дракон " и да я играем със приятелите които сме в мрежа. Някой може ли да помогне ?

Видях го това но за съжаление нищо не зацепх. Можеш ли да ми го обясниш на разбирем език ?

И какво е разбираем език?

Сваляш си екзето, старираш го, даваш му "Некст", "Некст".. пишеш си парола при първото стартиране и си готов.
Пак за играта не е мястото тук да питаш.

Обясни какво точно трябва да направиш, защото по-ясен отговор от на salle за инсталиране не се сещам...

Бях със стара версия на сървъра на която нямаше това next next next.. А като изтеглих по-нова ( 4.1.11 ) и някъде към края при Processing configuration ми дава
на Sart service ми дава " Cannot create Windows service for MySQL. Error: 0 " Можете ли да помогнете ?

Не си си изтрил предният сървис.

Error: Cannot create Windows service for MySql. Error: 0

This error is encountered when you re-install or upgrade MySQL without first stopping and removing the existing MySQL service and install MySQL using the MySQL Configuration Wizard. This happens because when the Configuration Wizard tries to install the service it finds an existing service with the same name.

One solution to this problem is to choose a service name other than mysql when using the configuration wizard. This will allow the new service to be installed correctly, but leaves the outdated service in place. While this is harmless it is best to remove old services that are no longer in use.

To permanently remove the old mysql service, execute the following command as a user with administrative privileges, on the command-line:

C:\>sc delete mysql
[SC] DeleteService SUCCESS

also this may happens when you have installed MyQL in the C:/Program Files/....
the space between Program & files also prevent from creating/starting service..
So install MySQL server in C:/ itself say C:/MYSQL

MySQL Setup:
Setup should be pretty straightforward, create the database, create
an account to access the database on behalf of the site; this account
should have full permissions on the database.

After you have the database created, point your browser at the location you
have the logd files installed at and load up installer.php (for instance,

will walk you through a complete setup from the ground up. Make sure to
follow all instructions!

Ясно ми как става правил съм го на сървър в интернет ама като сървъра ми е на компа вече не знам какво да правя...

.. започни с това, че искаш да инсталираш MySQL на Windows щото платформите които официално поддържаме са над 20 а има разлика в инсталирането под да речем MacOS X, Solaris, Linux, Windows и т.н.

После откъде успя да намериш 4.1.11? Текущата версия е 4.1.14

И накрая ако искаш някой да ти чете на глас какво пише по ръководствата, че и да ти превежда едва ли е най-добрата идея да искаш помощ з атова в клуб Бази Данни.
