OFF TOPIC проблемът с патентите
Писмото което получих, във връзка с регистрацията ми на petition.eurolinux.org.
#лично аз много мразя някой да copy-paste-ва от сайт, но смятам че това е важно за всички ни. Какво мислите по този въпрос? Защо в България нямаше протести? Защо никъде не се говори за тези неща, освен може би Столман, който на посещението си говори много.
#И ето го писмото:
1) As EU accession country, the outcome
of the EU reading may heavily affect the interpretation of the
European Patent Convention (EPC), and your country is member
of the EPC.
2) The vote in the Second Reading on the software patent
directive is in 7-9 work days, on 5-7 July.
3) Lobbying in Brussels is heavy, currently there is much
pressure on MEPs by pro-software-patent companies. The pro-patent
lobby has about 30 lobbyists more than we, mostly wearing the hat
of SMEs.
4) It is a good time for your action, at [линк] we
maintain a list of what you can do as an SME and as an individual.
Witpecially we advise to see your MEP soon and, if you can
speak for an SME, to visit the Economic Majority conference
29 June Brussels [линк].
Please decide to come the conference early, so that a date with
your MEP or with his/her assistant can be arranged in advance.
To locate MEPs dealing with non-EU countries go to
[линк] and
pick your region from 'Delegation'.

Как не се говори бе? :)
Нали имаше протести в София... Нещо си пропуснал събитията май.
Дори и тениски имаше тематични...
...Ама и при нас свободния софтуер в политиката е последна грижа май :|
