Magic Circle 2005 - Chaos Magick Seminars 5th to 7th of August 2005
Overview
Magic Circle is a series of seminars with a long and unique tradition. Starting in 1987 and taking place in varying locations once a year, Magic Circle opens to a non-initiated audience magic in its perfectly clear, limitless and ever-revolutionary form: the Chaos Magick of the IOT. Nearly all well-known chaos magicians and an even greater number of those spellworkers who never exposed themselves to the public have been or are speakers at Magic Circle. The contents of their seminars are usually made available to the public only years later, if at all.
On the 5th to 7th of August 2005 it is time for another installment: the thanaterotic chaos-illuminates of the IOT offer a new open forum for Chaos Magick. Magic Circle 2005 takes place in a seminar house south-east of Leipzig, in a beautiful winegrowing region. Fireplaces and a pool are in close proximity to the location. Participants may book full board residential - vegetarian food is offered upon request - or provide food and lodging themselves.
Seminars begin with dinner on Friday,5th of August 2005, 6:00 pm and end after lunch on Sunday, 7th of August, 1:30 pm.
Seminar leaders and topics
Fra. K - Introduction to Chaos Magick
Fra. K creates the common basis and describes the experimental ground that we then proceed to romp in. After decades of experience as a practising chaos magician he is up to every trick and can teach chaos magic as competently, vividly and appealingly as no one else can. The seminar will be held in the German language and translated into English upon request.
Fra. B - Friends of Baphomet
Baphomet is the living, ancient, ever-changing force of life and magic. It stands outside of all polarities and endows with his chaotic power anyone able to adress it. Fra. B introduces us to it in a playful way and shows how easy and natural playing with fire can be. The seminar will be held in the German language and translated into English upon request.
Sor. Lilith - Magical ritual techniques
One of the greatest advantages of Chaos Magick is that it makes seasoned forms of magic more potent by reducing them to the bare bones. Once the ballast of tradition and the usual limits have been removed, pure and efficient technique remains. Therefore, Sor. Lilith can make comprehensible things usually reserved for "advanced practitioners" such as evocation and possession, in a very brief period of time. The seminar will be held in the German language and translated into English upon request.
Fra. Alloy - Transmagic
Visitng from the USA comes Fra. Alloy, who finds Magic Cirle partially responsible for his reputation of a man with incredibly deep and broad understanding of the most varied magical realities. This time, his topic will be the development of magic, and the magical arts of the past, present and future. The seminar will be held in the English language.
Dave Lee - Runes of Chaos
Our second international guest hails from Great Britain and is the well-known author of many books. He habitually extends the boundaries of what the attendants to his many seminars, readings and workshops consider possible and real. As a skilled aficionado of both traditional runic magic and chaos magic practice, he wants to explore with us Futharks for the 21st century. The seminar will be held in the English language.
Fra. Ckrosonson - Fear demons: creation, feeding and fostering
Who is afraid of the dark? What is the dark, anyway, and how can we deal with it? How can we put to use the energy of fear in an expedient way? In this seminar, we give fear a name and a purpose, we make it a familiar, an ally, a friend. The seminar will be held in the German language and translated into English upon request.
Sor. Ihrer Selbst - FY: a chao-tantric lunar exercise
One of Sor. Ihrer Selbst's many designs is this unique blend of chaos, tantra and moon magic. She exemplifies the potential of chaosmagical research in going far beyond anything conjured in the light of the moon before. The seminar will be held in the German language and translated into English upon request.

These prices include the seminar fee. The seminar fee alone excluding additional services amounts to 66€.
Registration is possible by Email only. Please indicate if you wish to have accommodation, and if so, which, as well as what kind of meals (vegetarian or conventional) you want booked. Bank details are sent upon registration. Bank transfer of the participation fee constitues the booking. Only the booking qualifies for participation in the seminars.
