MS in Sofia University

I am a student of mol.bio and genetics.But I do not study in BG.This semester we have a course related with applying to a MS program.The university that I chose is Sofia University.The MS program is related wiєth Gene and cell engineering.
We have to make a short presentation giving info about the ms program,its advantages, disadvantages,the problems faced.Since I know noone in BG studying in that university or having a knowledge about the student life there,I thought that writing here would be better.At least thare will be some forum users that will help me I think.

I looked at that site
before writing here I ve done a lot of research through the internet
by saying student life I want to learn about; if there are enough research opportunities, enough equipment in the labs,etc
also are there any financial supports offered to strudents?
Since I do not live in BG I dont have so much info about the universities found ther :(
and the websites do not conatin enough info
As far as I know sofia uni is one of the most reputable BG universities.
I think that if I am not accepted to another university in europe or america it would be better to do my masters degree in Sofia university
then since bg will join yhe EU in 2007(as far as I know) it would be easier to got accepted to another university
But is there enough research done in the field of molecular biology in sofia uni?

About the research opportunities and available modern lab equipment - the simple answer is "NO", but there are two institutes - Agrobioinstitute (ABI) hosted in the same building as Faculty of Biology and Institute of Molecular biology - it is in Bulgarian Academy of Science research core complex, where you can find relatively good equipment (for Bulgarian standards). If you join some of the research groups there you will have to some extend opportunity for good research at MS level, but for serious research carrier you have to look somewhere in Western Europe or USA.
