Tourist Visa for my In-laws:
Dear Sirs:
My name is ………. (a native US Citizen – born ………….) married to a Bulgarian citizen/permanent resident of the USA ……name…….. and we are living in ……... This letter is a formal invitation letter, written in support of a tourist visa for my wife’s parents: (Father) ….name…. and (Mother….name…live. city , Bulgaria.
We would like to help them secure a tourist visa for a 4 to 6-week visit to our home in the USA. I agree to pay for all transportation, meals and any other expenses incurred in their travels to and from, and during their stay, at our home, in the USA. As my wife and I are the principal economic support for my In-laws in Bulgaria, and we are assisting them financially . I can assure the Consulate that they will return to Bulgaria and will not overstay their visa. My father-in-law has two bad hip joints and my mother-in-law suffers from a congenital heart problem – employment (neither in Bulgaria nor anywhere else) is not an option for them. They are on a small government pension and we provide most of their income (see bank records attached). All of the above, combined with their access (in Bulgaria) to free government medical care, they have no incentive to leave Bulgaria for emigration anywhere else. However, an opportunity to visit with us, in our home, and to see a little bit of Arizona and the Southwest USA, would be wonderful for them and for us, as well. I will take personal responsibility to make certain of their timely return.
My wife….. name…… is a permanent resident of the USA. A copy of our passports confirming my citizenship and …name… legal residency, are attached. If there are any forms, guarantees, bonds or documents, which I would need to sign, I am more than willing to do so. We thank you for your kind attention and assistance in this matter.
