In the darkness a young woman raves
Screaming and cursing the world
Throwing things, hitting things
Finaly collapses to the floor in heap
No energy left to do anything but weep
She catches her breathe only to curse and scream more
There is no reason or logic within her
Both torn away along with her heart
She curses she screams
Still the pain does not ease, it will not cease
She picks up a shard of glass
Remnant of a mirror she shattered in her madness
Holds it to her wrist and cuts
She cuts all flesh that she can see
Cursing and screaming
This girl has been driven wild
She stopes to wonder how he could go
How could he end it all?
But no it hurts to think
And she curses and screams
She gave him all
Put up with the abuse and harsh words
And yet still he left her
She can think no more
Runs out the door and to the ocean
Swept away in the mad waves
Some say she died of a broken heart
More practical types say she drowned

All of us have lost our souls to the darkness at some point in our lives. I have learned to love the darkness that has consumed my soul.
