Да, смятам и дори този вид телепатия /така да я наречем/ е доказана от Рупърд Шелдрейк с научни опити. Ако се интересуваш от научни публикации и статии по въпроса мога да ти посоча линкове на английски.

Proof that YOU Can Read Minds

'HAVE you ever had the feeling of being watched - and turned round to find someone behind you staring at you? Have you yourself stared with idle curiosity at someone until they turned their heads to see who was watching them? Have you ever picked up the ringing telephone to find it is someone you have just been thinking about? Or telephoned someone who says: 'Funny, I was just thinking about you!'

Have you ever noticed that a cat due to be taken to the vet suddenly disappears? Or that your dog knows and complains that you are going to leave it before you visibly prepare to go?

The answer to all these questions is most likely to be yes."

Peter Lewis goes on to point out that these are experiences, which are common to the majority of people, have no explanation in orthodox science. Dogmatists in mainstream science are dismissive of attempts to explain these 'extra-sensory' phenomena.

Rupert Sheldrake has published the results of his extensive researches in his latest book, The Sense of Being Stared At . He concludes that there is in fact a 'Seventh Sense' which provides us with vital information through telepathy and premonition. It is not in any way magical or 'paranormal'. Rather, he says, 'it is normal, part of our basic nature which we share with animals'.

Sheldrake's conclusions, involving a database of 5,000 case histories, are the result of extensive research carried out with members of the public. In staring tests conducted on groups of friends and in schools, the success rate was well in excess of chance predictions. In fact, 80 percent of people questioned reported the staring sensation.

Sheldrake finds it significant that the great majority of starers turn out to be strangers. 'It must go back to the times when our ancestors were preyed on by predators which, of course, were strangers. Being aware of its eyes before a stalking predator caught up with you had obvious survival value,' said Sheldrake. 'Hunters report how animals often show acute awareness they are being stalked even from far away'.

Resembling the I-am-being-stared-at feeling is the phenomenon of telephone telepathy which seems to involve the sensing of another person's intention to phone. 'Over 90 per cent of people surveyed say they have experienced it'.
In Sheldrake's experiments, the subject awaited a phone call at a certain time, knowing it might come from one of four people. 'When the phone went, the subject had to answer 'Hello ? X', naming whoever they felt it was before the caller said anything. If they had only identified the callers by chance they would have been right 25 per cent of the time. But the overall success rate was far, far better, between 40 and 45 per cent.' One subject scored a success rate of 75 per cent.
Unlike the staring phenomenon, which works best with strangers, the experimental data shows that telephone telepathy depends strongly on emotional bonds, which may account for the fact that women are more sensitive than men. Also it is independant of distance. 'It's not spatial closeness, it's emotional closeness that counts,' Sheldrake explains.

He also discovered that telephone telepathy is an ability which we share with many animals, dogs, cats, parrots and a Capuchin monkey, were all able to detect when a person important to them was about to phone.
'Animal telepathy is a well established phenomenon between social animals who are members of packs, herds, flocks of birds or schools of fish. Obviously a communicable sense of danger helps them survive predators, keeps them together and enables them to act as one. The Seventh Sense is something we share with animals.

Premonitions of danger are much more marked in animals than in humans. There are numerous cases of animals reacting in advance of natural disasters, earthquakes and avalanches. Still more remarkable are the cases of animal premonitions of man-made disasters, air raids, explosions, road accidents. Human forebodings of disaster are more ambiguous, but Sheldrake has a database of 312 human cases. An appeal to New Yorkers after Nine-Eleven resulted in 57 accounts. 'Of these 38 were dreams which had been told to others before the attack'. In order to qualify for inclusion on the database, premonitions must be either recorded in writing or revealed to a third party in advance of the event.
Orthodox scientists dismiss the evidence because it does not fit with the dogma that consciousness is purely a brain function. In their view, sensory inputs from the organs of sight, hearing and touch are organised by the brain to provide us with a virtual reality of our world. There is no room for phenomena of telepathy or premonition here.

Sheldrake's approach is different. He advances the view that 'our minds operate through mental fields which extend far beyond the physical limits of the brain'. When you stare at someone, your mental field interacts with that of the other person. In telepathy, the interaction of mental fields causes one person to become aware of the intentions of another. Premonition opens the possiblity that some people's mental field extends into the future.

There is nothing strange to science about the concept of fields - gravitational fields, electromagnetic fields and quantum fields are part of modern physics. ' Mental fields are still an hypothesis but they do begin to make sense of experiences which have hitherto been inexplicable'.

As Rupert Sheldrake says: 'Many scientists are more open-minded about this than ever before. We may be on the threshold of a breakthrough.'

Re: smiatate li che
