lilo проблем при Debian

Някой друг с Дебиан има ли такъв проблем?

а ако си беше тропнал тука и lilo.conf файла - цена нямаше да имаш направо

пък така трябва да се правим на братовчеди на баба ванга.

Това което проучих и разбрах е следното:
В lilo.conf имам ред
install=/boot/boot-bmp.b
,но в /boot/ нямам boot-bmp.b , а имам само:

разкарай всякакви битмапи и ще спиш спокойно. ето ти примерен лило.конф:

тук /boot/boot.b ти е боот сектора. без него няма да мине номера. така като гледам, при теб е boot.0300 или boot.0305

Не стана нищо.

Изцяло като твоя го направих и пак едно и също.

Ще се мъча сега да компилирам 2.4.20 ядрото...
ама от сега знам, че нищо няма да стане понеже досега не съм компилирвал, а само съм прекомпилирвал ядро.

Не съм сигурен дали ще стане с прекомпилиране на ядрото.
Между другото колко ти е голям диска? виждам, че се boot-а е на hda5 и може би проблема е до това, че този дял е над 1024 цилиндър (8 GB)?

Ами то новите lilo-ta не им е проблем това

Когато бях с друго дистро нямаше проблем

И аз не знам какво е още.

За hda5 ами това е втория дял

Когато дойдоха да ми качват ОС така ми го нацепиха диска и единствено resize i type на последните дялове, а на първите всичко ценно.

Не се смейте

Още няколко дена и нема да има ntfs i fat32. С това apt-get install напълних диска и ще има тотална роакада. NTFS и FAT32 ще изчезнат

Ако искаш си инсталирай GRUB. Имаш го като пакет, само apt-get install grub и заравяш за проблемите!!!

аз само пейстнах моя лило.конф. не го слагай точно същия. остави си /дев/хда5 за руут, остави имената на имиджите....

Е да де. Промених го като твоя, но с моите данни. И /boot/* с моите данни... Всичко както требва.

Ами ударих му едно apt-get install grub ама не мога го конфигурирам, нещо не мога да се ориентирам(дори в документацията). Ако ми кажеш какво трябва да направя, цена няма да имаш
