	Understood.  The author has considered writing the components

	to be compatible with and/or emulate the standard Database-Aware

	components.  However, due to interest in other projects, he

	has abandoned this task.



	Once you get the hang of writing a full-featured threaded

	application with TmySQL, and notice how fast and efficient it is,

	you may not go back.  :)

mySQLDB: This unit contains VCLs -- TmySQLDatabase, TmySQLTable, and TmySQLQuery -- which provide "clones" to the Delphi-native database VCLs of similar names. That way, programmers that are familiar with the Delphi-native VCLs can use them in new projects or to convert other projects to be able to utilize mySQL with little re-education.



NOTE: Currently, the TmySQL DB VCLs are being developed. Please join the mailing list to be notified when it is available
