Panic Room.
В друга дискусионна група, за която съм абонирана, прочетох хубаво ревю на "Panic Room". То разкрива съвсем малко повече от това, което пише на рекламния афиш, но въпреки това хората, които предпочитат да бъдат изненадани от филма, е добре да го пропуснат.

I saw this yesterday and really enjoyed it. It kept up the tension throughout.
The plot is that mother and daughter move into new house. House has a panic room, that is a safe room that you can lock yourself into if people break into the house. It has monitors to view the rest of the house, food, toilet, phone and is protected by thick steel walls.
On the first night, three men break into the house, so mother and daughter head for panic room. Problem one, because they have only just moved in the phone in the panic room has not been connected. Problem two, what the burglars want is in the panic room safe. Problem three, one of the burglars designed that panic room. Problem four, the daughter is a diabetic and needs an injection which is not in the
panic room. The whole film is bristling with tension and I loved every minute.
Jodie Foster plays the mother, and I've always been a Jodie Foster fan. She is really good in this, so much so that I'll forgive her for doing the awful film Contact.
I got thrown for a while cos I thought her daughter was actually her son. Short hair, tomboyish looks, fooled me completely till someone called her Sarah.
