MACEDONIA...NOT MENTIONED

The new State was formed according to these precepts in 1918-1919 under King Peter I of Sebia. The actual ruler was Peter's son, Alexander, who had been regent since 1914 and who became sovereign in his own right in 1921. As finaly constituted, the kingdom included the former Serbia, Montenegro, Bosnia, Hercegovina, Dalmatia, Croatia and Slavonia, and parts of Carniola, Styria, Temesvar, A-N-D W-E-S-T-E-R-N

Re: You missunderstood

Obviously you missed again Laci. There is a proverb: Trust but verify. So the quoted edition is the seventh reprint of the original "The World Since 1914" . Under this title there were six other editions: 1948, 1943, 1941, 1938, 1933. The author changed the title for the seventh edition.

In regard to" the Bulgarian mistake" in 1913 (you can't help it but speak as a Makedonist) you know well that our friendly neubours Greece and Serbia would have never agree Bulgaria & Macedonia to be one. The trechery of our neubours (yours and ours) is unsurpassed with Serbia leading, followed by Greece, Turkey and Romania. With neubours like these who needs enemies.

former Serbia, this included Vardar Macedonia.

"With brothers like Bulgarian who needs brothers?" Famous Macedonian proverb of early 20 century.

It can be debated who was more treacherius in 1911/12/13 and later.

Re: Laci got it right

The writer has had in mind Caribrod, Bosilegrad and STRUMICA (including their regions),which became part of kingdom SHS in1919(after the WWI)!
Those towns and their villages, as well as some villages near Trun and Kula, were separated from Bulgaria although their populatin was 100% Bulgarian (about 80,000)!
