I drugo zabeljazah che moze da e neshto s pametite shtoto se upgradevah na 1024 Mb, nachi pri instalacijata na Redhat-a kernela pri isntaliraneto na modulite na hardueri mi vika che trea da si pusna BIGMEM il HIMEM li kaza?! shtoto zasega po default mozel da utilizira nai mnogo ~867Mb ot 1024 Mb ram. Updatevah si BIOS-a pas the same shit :)

Red Hat Linux will install a kernel optimized for Athlon processors on systems with an Athlon-class CPU. Due to the optimization, this will put a greater load on the system components. Therefore, a very small number of machines may fail to boot as a result of the hardware not strictly conforming with AMD's specifications and thus being unable to cope with the load. On such systems, you can either upgrade the hardware (under-powered power supply units can cause this) or use the rescue capability of the installer to install an i686 kernel.

Az imam Athlon@1.2 Ghz i sushto imah problemi s kernelite predi 2.4.12 - ako kernela e kompilran s optimizacii za Athlon/K7 - sistemata se panikiosva pri zarejdaneto na niakoi moduli, Ako kernela e s optimizacii za K6 vsi4ko si e normalno
problema go niama v novite kerneli - 2.4.12 i 2.4.13
moje da si opravish linuxa kato bootnesh ot disketa i si smenish kernela s niakoj standarten (bez optimizcii za Athlon), i posle kato bootnesh s nego si sloji 2.4.13
