I wonder to myself a lot:
Now is it true, or is it not,
that what is which and which is what?

On Tuesday, when it hails and snows
the feeling on me grows and grows
that hardly anybody knows
if those are these or these are those.

On Wednesday, when the sky is blue,
and I have nothing else to do,
I sometimes wonder if it's true
that who is what and what is who.

On Thursday, when it starts to freeze
and hoar-frost twinkles on the trees,
how very readily one sees
that these are whose- but whose are these?

Точно заради него хората, които не са чели книжката си мислят че "Мечо Пух" не си струва прочитането.

...няма да забравя преживяванията и фантазийте‚ които съм изпитал със слушането на грамофонната плоча на Мечо Пух‚ когато бях към 5-6 годишен./или по-малък‚ не си спомням/

- Какво е засадено там? - пошепна Пух на Прасчо. - Да не би да е хвойна?
- -Драги, Пух - каза Бухала надменно, - нима не знаеш какво значи Засада?….Засада е един вид Изненада.
- Такава е и хвойната понякога - каза Пух.
- Ако някой неочаквано връхлети отгоре ти, това е Засада - каза Бухала.
- Пух, който сега знаеше какво е Засада, каза че и хвойната веднъж го връхлетяла най-неочаквано, когато той паднал от едно дърво и трябвало после цели 6 дни да се чисти от бодлите й.
- Ние не говорим за хвойна! - каза Бухала малко раздразнен.
