THRILLER-video

Damita, sorry za porednata porciya reklama na Madonna, no tova e ot neyn site:

Like A Prayer has been ranked as the second greaqtest video of all time by the music cable network VH1. The once controversial music video, which was condemned as blasphemous when it first aired in 1989, has been deemed venerable enough to make VH1's upcoming "100 Greatest Videos Of All Time" special, surpassed only by Michael Jackson's "Thriller", which also topped a similar list compiled by VH1's MTV sibling in 1999.

Mary Lambert who filmed the video told Reuters on Monday she was surprised by the vehemence of the response, which she thinks was rooted in racism and right-wing Christianity. Madonna, who was one of the first pop stars to realise the power of music videos, logged six entries on the list - more than any other artist. VH1 will count down the clips over five consecutive nights beginning on May 7. The list was compiled by executives at the network.
