Eto i malko info po tremata:
A Lakota family is called a Tiospaye, which is an extended family. All of your mother's sisters are also your mothers, which means that all their husbands are your fathers. All of your father's brothers are also your fathers, which means that their wives are your mothers, too. In a Tiospaye, you have many mothers and fathers. Therefore, a child in a Tiospaye has many parents, and is never alone. Each mother and father is just as important as a child's birth-mother and birth-father. Thus, there are no orphans in Lakota Society because the entire Tiospaye is responsible for teaching and caring for all of the children.
