Обособено помещение? Сто на сто обособено - в кой отсек се е намирало поне?
Освен това храната в каква опаковка се е доставяла?
Доставчикът бил ли е НАСА оторизиран или са били направени изключения?
Имало ли е на совалката отговорник за отварянето на консервираната храна?
Или всеки астронавт я е отварял сам? Режим на хранене? Часове?
Консерва или метален контейнер? Контейнерът обикновено се ползва за събиране на "боклук". Използвана ли е и в Columbia Shuttle "печка", като в руските космически кораби за подгряване на храната? Предполагам печка с таймер?
Принцип на работа на печката? Електричество, газ? Едва ли е последното.
Метален контейнер - от какъв метал е бил изработен?
Същото важи за консервите. Кои храни или напитки са били опаковани в тинове?
Търсих инфармация за Columbia Shuttle по тези въпроси в сайта на НАСА - неуспях да открия нищо, освен сведения за някаква стара мисия.
Интересува ме именно совалката Колумбия.

Governor Jeb Bush, Honorable Senators, Congressmen Dave Weldon, Honorable Sean O’Keefe, members of the clergy, distinguished NASA professionals, my fellow Americans:
Today, is a day of mourning and remembering. We are all pained to the core by the tragedy of shuttle Columbia.
Today, we mourn the loss of seven special people, seven heroic human beings, Rick Husband, William McCool, Michael Andersen, David Brown, Kaplana Chawla, Laura Clark and, my friend, Ilan Ramon. We pledge in the presence of almighty God that we will never forget you!
Today, we mourn as one family, just as these seven outstanding individuals who came from diverse backgrounds formed a team, united as one.
Last week I was Honored to have been a friend of Ilan Ramon
And Today I am humbled to be part of his legacy.
As I think of my friend, Ilan, I recall the words of King David (in the book of Samuel), when told of the loss of his dear friend Jonathan, “I am pained and distressed over you my brother Ilan. You were so pleasant to me”!
At Chabad-Lubavitch we daily live the motto of our Sages, “turn pain into action and tragedy into growth”. Every challenge, every obstacle, every set back, no matter how painful and difficult, must be channeled into greater activity, making the world a more Godly and kinder place.
For while Columbia is gone, our holy mission continues…
Columbia is gone; yet the astronauts’ souls are with God, praying for the well being of their families and for all of us!
Columbia is gone; yet the astronauts’ legacy lives on. They wished to serve and they did. Now it is our turn to serve!
Columbia is gone; yet we anticipate that NASA will redouble its space exploration with all the benefits for mankind. For your work, furthers medical research and the development of defensive weapons, thus healing and protecting all God’s children.
The Lubavitcher Rebbe, Rabbi Menachem M. Schneersohn, would continuously remind us that our country, The United States of America, is a nation of deep faith and great kindness.
I would like to thank NASA for accepting with open arms an Israeli scientist, a child of Holocaust survivors.
I would like to thank NASA for accommodating, even encouraging, Ilan’s religious beliefs.
I would like to thank NASA for allowing Ilan to carry a Torah scroll, which miraculously survived the concentration camps!
In Particular:
I would like to thank NASA for allowing Ilan to make the Kiddush and keep his Shabbat.
Last year Ilan Ramon turned to me with a question:
How does one mark the Sabbath in Space - with every 90 minutes another sunset, every 10 / 2 hours is Sabbath and every 20 days is Rosh Hashana –
Jerusalem, we have a problem! [laugh]
So I had my homework to do.
But Ilan taught us a powerful message:
No matter how fast we’re going, no matter how important our work, we must pause and think about why we’re here on this earth.
Today, let every one of us do one extra act of kindness in memory of Ilan, Rick, William, Michael, David, Kaplana and Laura. This will serve as a powerful expression of our unity and resolve. This torch of unity will light up the darkness and usher in a new era, the long awaited era of which the bible speaks of, the era of redemption. An era of G-dliness and goodness, an era of peace, Shalom. May G‑d bless America

В Любавичах находятся могилы цаддиков из династии Шнеерсонов. Могила Менахема Мендла бен Шолома Шахны (Цемах Цедек) является местом паломничества.
В конце 1980-х гг. московская община хасидов Хабада Chabad приобрела в Любавичах дом, предназначенный для нужд паломников. В 2001 г. в Любавичах был открыт музей истории хасидизма. 16 июля 2002 г. на месте расстрела был установлен памятный знак. Изготовлен Смоленской еврейской общиной на средства российского Фонда «Холокост». До этого на месте расстрела был небольшой памятник с пятиконечной звездой вверху (без текста).
10 ноября 2011 года был открыт мемориал 483 евреям, казнённым нацистами в 1941 в деревне[4]. Мемориал был создан с большой долей помощи общин евангельских христиан России. В 2012 году в составе мемориала была посажена аллея, посвящённая Праведникам народов мира, спасавшим евреев во время Холокоста. Были посажены 13 лип в честь жителей Смоленской области, включённых в список Праведников[5]
Религиозный центр хасидизма
С XVII века местечко — крупный религиозный центр. Здесь обосновались лидеры хасидского течения в иудаизме — Хабад (Хабад-Любавич, Любавичский хасидизм). Следует заметить, что хотя движение основал рабби Шнеур Залман из Ляд, живший в то время в Лиозно, и только его сын и преемник, рабби Дов Бер, переехал в Любавичи, движение было названо именно Любавическим. Сам рабби Шнеур Залман в молодости учился в Любавичах. Рабби Йосеф Ицхак Шнеерсон, шестой ребе из Любавичей, описывает в своих «мемуарах» историю местечка, развития в нём еврейской общины, связи её с хасидизмом и «скрытых цадиках», живших там.
Раввинами Любавичей была собрана огромная библиотека (Библиотека Шнеерсона), часть которой в годы Первой мировой войны была переправлена в Москву, в Румянцевский музей (сейчас Российская государственная библиотека). Большая часть книг, однако, находится в нынешнем центре любавического хасидизма, в Нью-Йорке.
The Chabad movement was established after the First Partition of Poland in the town of Liozno, Pskov Governorate, Russian Empire (present day Liozna, Belarus), in 1775, by Rabbi Shneur Zalman of Liadi,[12] a student of Rabbi Dovber ben Avraham, the "Maggid of Mezritch", the successor to Hasidism's founder, Rabbi Israel Baal Shem Tov. The movement was moved to Lyubavichi (Lubavitch) by the second Rebbe of Chabad, Rabbi Dovber Shneuri, in 1813.[5] The movement was centered in Lyubavichi for a century until the fifth Rebbe, Rabbi Shalom Dovber left the village in 1915[6] and moved to the city of Rostov-on-Don. During the interwar period, following Bolshevik persecution, the Chabad-Lubavitch movement, under the Sixth Rebbe, Rabbi Yosef Yitzchak, was centered in Riga and then in Warsaw. The outbreak of World War II led to the Sixth Rebbe to move to the United States. Since 1940,[12] the movement's center has been in the Crown Heights neighborhood of Brooklyn.[13][14]
While the movement spawned a number of offshoot groups throughout its history, the "Chabad-Lubavitch" branch is the only one still active, making it the movement's main surviving line.[15] Historian Jonathan Sarna has characterized Chabad as having enjoyed the fastest rate of growth of any Jewish religious movement in the period 1946–2015.[16]
In the early 1900s, Chabad-Lubavitch legally incorporated itself under Agudas Chasidei Chabad ("Association of Chabad Hasidim").
Hasidism, sometimes spelled Chassidism, and also known as Hasidic Judaism (Hebrew: חסידות‎, romanized: Ḥăsīdut, [χasiˈdut]; originally, "piety"), is a Jewish religious group that arose as a spiritual revival movement in the territory of contemporary Western Ukraine during the 18th century, and spread rapidly throughout Eastern Europe. Today, most affiliates reside in Israel and the United States.
