Love's good vibrations and meditations
The Washington Examiner
Washington, DC, United States
10 July 2005
On 10 July 2005 The Washington Examiner reported: The Washington Examiner reported that Mike Love talked about his Maharishi Sthapatya Vedic home in Lake Tahoe to crowds on Independence Day before performing on the Capitol lawn. The article reported that Love is a longtime practitioner of Transcendental Meditation. It is a joy for Global Good News service to feature this news, which indicates the success of the life-supporting programmes Maharishi has designed to bring fulfilment to the field of world-peace.
Mike Love of the Beach Boys, devoted practitioner of Transcendental Meditation for 40 years, was one of the first pop stars to practise Transcendental Meditation. He wrote and recorded the 'TM Song', and he spent time with Maharishi Mahesh Yogi in 1968 while in residence at Maharishi's meditation centre in Rishikesh, India. Now he is touting the benefits of design according to Maharishi Sthapatya Veda.
The Washington Examiner's Society page noted that Love recently addressed a meeting of meditators at American University inaugurating a national campaign to 'Rebuild America in Harmony with Natural Law'. His remarks were made just prior to entertaining the audience at the annual Fourth of July celebration on the Capitol lawn. He talked about his 'green' home in Lake Tahoe, which was designed by architects using the ancient principles of Maharishi Sthapatya Veda, which is said to promote health, success, and peace.'The world really needs new vibrations,' he told the audience.
