MAHARISHI URGES GOVERNMENTS TO IMMEDIATE ACTION TO CREATE SATISFIED CITIZENS

In a recent global broadcast Maharishi strongly emphasised the urgency to
create satisfied, spontaneously law-abiding citizens by utilising the
knowledge of the Unified Field. Maharishi declared that a government is only
significant if it can prevent problems, and expressed the hope that
governments will respond to his offer of preventing all problems in
individual and collective life by establishing ideal education.

STUDENTS CAN RAISE ANY NATION TO INVINCIBILITY

In parallel to his message for governments, Maharishi also urged students
and retired people to take up his knowledge and create invincibility for
their nation. ?It only takes a small fraction of the population to create a
better world ? just as it only takes one small light to remove the darkness
of an entire hall,? Maharishi said, adding that he is not attempting to
convince anyone who is determined to suffer. ?We appeal to those who have
the power to understand,? he said. ?We need just a few thousand people ? an
insignificant percentage of the population ? who want peace, who want bliss,
who want harmony. They will take to this knowledge and radiate a peaceful
effect in the atmosphere.?
