Senior PHP Developer

The Position:
This position requires an experienced developer, capable of making significant contributions throughout the web development lifecycle. As a hands-on developer for one or more of the company’s core software products, the Web Developer will participate in requirements gathering, unit testing, web development, deployment practices and evaluation of emerging technologies for company’s product development.
Requirements:
• 3+ years of experience
• Good command of English language (spoken and written)
• Experience with object oriented PHP
• Experience with reusable PHP components
• Strong knowledge in Web usability;
• Up to date with the latest Web technologies and trends
• Experience with Web servers (Apache) and RDBMS (MySQL)
• Experience with (X)HTML, CSS, DHTML. AJAX and Java Script
• Experience with Project Management practices and Design patterns
• Ability and willingness to work in a team, good analytical and communication skills
• Experience with QA practices
• Willingness to study and advance in the new technologies and actively participate in the knowledge-sharing within the company
Advantages:
• Experience with PHP MVC frameworks
• Experience with Java Script frameworks (DOJO, jQuery, ExtJS)
• Experience with XML and Web services
• Knowledge of a CMS product
• Linux/Apache/PHP/MySQL configuration and administration in production environment
Primary Responsibilities include:
• Work with development team and engineering leadership to design and implement new features.
• Take “ownership” of certain modules/functionalities.
• Design and implement interfaces to third party hardware and software systems.
• Provide maintenance programming support.
• Assist in resolving customer issues.
