и американския модел /явно е "по-впечатлен" от невероятната касапница на източния фронт, и интересно занижава американската роля в сравнение с китайския модел/:

Below is a commonly referenced rough breakdown of contributions to the Axis defeat along with some of the main points historians highlight when discussing why these approximations are used. Keep in mind that percentages like these are always imprecise; they mainly serve as a broad way to illustrate relative weight of effort. Different historians might dispute one aspect or another, or define “contribution” in varying ways (manpower, industrial production, territory liberated, etc.). Nevertheless, here is the approximate distribution and the general reasoning behind it:

1. Soviet Union (~65%)
Main Ground Fighting on Eastern Front:
The Eastern Front accounted for the vast majority of German casualties and required the largest allocation of German troops and resources. Historians often stress that Nazi Germany’s defeat hinged on the massive Soviet offensive that tied down and destroyed much of the Wehrmacht in the east.

Scale of Soviet Casualties and Effort:
The USSR lost millions of soldiers and civilians—by far the highest losses among the Allies. This level of sacrifice was indicative of the scale of their engagement.

Industrial Relocation and War Economy:
Despite initial setbacks, the Soviet Union relocated entire factories east of the Ural Mountains, ramping up tank and aircraft production to meet or exceed German output. The Red Army’s T-34 tanks, for example, became some of the most effective of the war.

Ultimate Capture of Berlin:
The final offensive against Germany’s capital was led by Soviet troops in 1945, symbolizing the USSR’s central role in forcing Germany’s surrender.

2. United States (~20%)
Industrial Power and Lend-Lease:
The U.S. provided vast quantities of materiel not only for its own forces but also for Allies—including the Soviet Union and Britain—through Lend-Lease. American factories produced huge numbers of aircraft, ships, vehicles, and other supplies, which proved decisive in sustaining the Allied war effort.

Multi-Theater Engagement:
The U.S. fought in both Europe and the Pacific simultaneously. In Europe, it led Operation Overlord (the D-Day landings in Normandy) and subsequent campaigns in Western Europe, and in the Pacific it bore the primary responsibility for defeating Imperial Japan.

Naval and Air Superiority:
The U.S. Navy became dominant in both the Atlantic and Pacific, ensuring supply routes could be protected. The American strategic bombing campaign (along with British Bomber Command) also significantly damaged German and Japanese industrial capacity.

Economic Aid and Manpower:
Alongside direct military involvement, the sheer economic might and manpower reserves of the United States gave the Allies a vital edge once America entered the war in 1941.

3. Britain (~10%)
Early Stand Against Germany:
From the fall of France in 1940 until the USSR’s entry (and later the U.S.’s entry), Britain largely stood alone against Germany in Western Europe. The Battle of Britain prevented a German invasion and kept Britain in the war—crucial for later opening the Western Front.

Control of the Atlantic and Maritime Supply Lines:
Britain’s Royal Navy, supported by Allied navies, was instrumental in the Battle of the Atlantic, ensuring that essential supplies continued to flow. This was vital to both Britain’s survival and to Soviet sustenance (via Arctic convoys).

Strategic Bombing:
Alongside the U.S. Army Air Forces, the RAF mounted a long‐running strategic bombing campaign against Germany, diverting German air defenses and damaging critical infrastructure and morale on the home front.

Intelligence and Coordination:
Britain excelled in code-breaking (e.g., ULTRA, Bletchley Park) and coalition strategy, helping manage the Grand Alliance among Washington, Moscow, and London.

4. Other Allies Combined (~5%)
Smaller Powers and Commonwealth Contributions:
Countries such as Canada, Australia, New Zealand, South Africa, and India contributed significant forces, especially in the air war over Europe and in various theaters from North Africa to the Pacific.

Resistance Movements and Governments-in-Exile:
Occupied nations—such as France, Poland, Yugoslavia, Greece, and others—often had active resistance movements, which tied down Axis forces, provided intelligence, and contributed to Allied successes. Many also fielded forces-in-exile that fought under Allied command.

China in the Pacific Theater:
China’s resistance to Japan absorbed major Japanese forces on the Asian mainland. Though separate in some respects from the European conflict, it was still integral to the broader Allied effort against the Axis powers.

Diplomatic and Logistical Support:
Smaller countries offered bases, resources, or diplomatic support which, while not overwhelming in isolation, collectively aided the Allied war machine.

Why These Percentages?
Soviet Union (~65%): Reflects the enormous scale of the Eastern Front, where the majority of German divisions were committed and destroyed.
United States (~20%): Recognizes America’s industrial juggernaut, multi-theater involvement, and pivotal role in both Europe and the Pacific—while acknowledging the Eastern Front still consumed more German resources.
Britain (~10%): Reflects Britain’s critical stand in 1940–41, its leadership in the bombing campaign, its naval contributions, and strategic coordination—yet acknowledging that, by numbers, the Soviet and American commitments were larger overall.
All Others (~5%): Acknowledges the combined impact of numerous smaller nations, Commonwealth forces, and underground movements. They played key roles in certain theaters and strategic moments, even if individually their share of the overall war effort was more modest.
In Summary:
While these approximate percentages (65–20–10–5) total 100% and can give a sense of relative scale, they are inevitably simplified. The exact importance of each ally varied over time and by theater, and war cannot be reduced to a purely numerical equation. Nonetheless, these figures convey a broad consensus that the Eastern Front was the largest single factor (Soviet Union), followed by the United States’ massive industrial and multi-front engagement, Britain’s crucial early stand and strategic contributions, and the array of other allies, without whose support the war might have taken a drastically different turn.
