When they all joined together, because of Prussia's military might, does it mean that they are not German states??? Would Bavaria, for instance, or Wuerttemberg, want to secede from Germany, because they had to join by force??? What about Italy??? Would the sothern states, or Milan, or Rome, want to secede because new Italy emerged after wars??? No... Because they WERE ALL THE SAME PEOPLE> Dear MAKEDONEC, I am getting really pissed with your evident desire not to accept the facts. Tens of "Macedonian" scholars have tried to write a new history. And what happens??? You might believe them, I know. After all, Serbian Propaganda has existed in the country for so long. But all these scholars' works were rejected by International Institutions. Do not try to present us with such stupid arguments as the one "Bulgarians are Tatars". First, Bulgarians have nothing to do with the Volga Bolgars. They may have the same name, since some of their ancestors are the same proto-bulgars who contributed to the creation of a single Slav state. Moreover, if you have the desire to have a look at the history - proto-bulgars were an Indo-Iranian people of Indo-European origin. Modern "Macedonian" STILL HAS SOME OF THE SAME WORDS THAT WERE PRESENT IN THE THEIR LANGUAGE. How would you explain the word "brakja" for instance??? You have not thought of that, have you. The Volga Bolgars are a different people. Secondly, the Volga Bolgars (along with the Chubashi) themselves reject the fact that they are called Tatars. The FIRST time they were called Tatars was WHEN THE RUSSIAN COMMUNISTS CALLED THEM TATARS. For the last 20 years, they have been fighting AGAINST that name.
