I am a COF fan from Midian (late 2000) and I finally managed to see them live! The show - 6th April in Vienna, Austria. They played:
from "The Principle..." - nothing (what a shame, uh?)
from "VEmpire" - Ebony Dressed For Sunset
The Forest Whispers My Name
Nocturnal Supremacy
From "Dusk..." - Heaven Torn Asunder (!!!!!)
Dusk And Her Embrace
From "Cruelty..." - Cruelty Brought thee Orchids
The Twisted Nails Of Faith
From "From the Cradle..." - the title track
From "Midian" - Cthulhu dawn
her Ghost In The Fog
From "Bitter Suites..." - Born In A Burial Gown
From "damnation" - A Bruise Upon the Silent Moon (playback intro) and 2 or 3 other songs - I still have had no time to listen a lot to the new album.
Also, there was a playback interlude - the Imperial march from Star Wars!!! It really suits COF's music!!!
COF's live performance wqas really great, Dani jumping and running all over the stage, screaming, whispering etc. Sarah was also there, majestic as usual. Paul used his guitar from the "Scorched Earth Erotica" video - the one with the silver bats.... His solo on Nocturnal Supremacy was magical! The others were excelent too - including the session guitarist. I made some photos and will post them here later.
The show was 1 or 2 track shorter, "due to the difficult weather conditions" (Dani quote). They played for about 60 minutes.
Apart from the music, I can't stop myself from mentioning the beautifull female dancer the had on stage... She was there dancing/masturbating lol
Oh, and they had a big screen behind/above the drums, and they showed some evil pics from booklets, videos, CoFear etc.
