Eто ти една от многото рецепти за понички,аз проверих в интернет, но никъде не намерих класическите понички да се приготвят от парено тесто.Приготвят се с различни подправки и пълнежи,но принзипно тестото се приготвя по един и същи начин.Ето ти една от резептите рецепта:
DONUTS
1/3 c. butter
1 c. sugar
1 tbsp. salt
1/2 tsp. vanilla
1/2 tsp. lemon extract
3 eggs
2 c. flour
Cream shortening, butter, sugar, salt, vanilla, and lemon; mix in eggs and 2 cups of flour while creaming.
Mix 2 cups warm water with a little sugar. Add less than 1/2 cup dry yeast; let set.
Add 2 cups milk and 3 quarts (12 cups) of sifted flour to, and mix with above ingredients. Then add yeast and warm water mixture. Add water as needed and keep working and folding dough mixture keeping it rather moist.
When ready to put aside to rise approximately 15 minutes or place in covered container or in plastic bag and refrigerate overnight.
When ready roll out dough 1/2 inch thick, and cut donuts out setting them aside on tray in warm place to rise to double their size. Then fry at slightly less than 350 degrees.
Variation to above. Cut donut open and twist both ends, let rise and fry, cover with cinnamon and sugar.
Make icing with powdered sugar, vanilla and milk; add cocoa for chocolate.
