Lend me thy candle bed
Save me from my grief
Give me this pleasure…so brief
Show me your land of snows
Take me where singing crows
Relieve me from the pain
Burn in me again the flame
Lull me to your heavy grip
Give me sweet poison to sip
Make me forget the reality
Show me the secret of immortality
Grant me through thine gates
Hide me from the hate
Restrain me from all harms
Save me from the beast’s arms
Cover me with holy blood
Cleanse me from all the mud
‘Teach me passion for I fear it’s gone
Show me love, hold the lorn’
