VICTORIA Beckham might have jetted to Portugal to be with her husband, but her mind is definitely with Geri Halliwell’s tot.

And, in particular, the expensive gift that she is designing for the child.

The 32-year-old has asked for plans for an extravagant, minidesigner watch, worth £25k, to be faxed over to her hotel suite so she can approve them.

Posh has been working on the pink diamond timepiece – which Geri’s daughter won’t be wearing until she’s at least three-years-old – ever since mummy Halliwell, 33, told her she was expecting a girl.

La Beckham, who has three sons with the England skipper, 31, was said to be delighted that she could indulge her girlie side this time.

But then Geri’s little girl is one of the luckiest nippers in the la la land we call showbiz.

Vic’s posh present comes hot on the heels of George Michael’s even more generous gift – a £500,000 trust fund.

An insider said: “Victoria wanted to give Geri something unique so she is designing a mini watch from the exclusive Tiret range.

“High profile jeweller Daniel Lazar and her pal Damon Dash own the luxury watch range, so it all seemed logical.

“It’s specially designed for a small child – gold, with a pink face studded with tiny pink diamonds.

“The watch range is popular among many celebrities including Usher and Prince Harry.

“Victoria wanted Geri’s daughter to have something special that she could use when she’s older.

“Hopefully it will be the watch she learns to tell the time with.”

Future

Geri’s daughter has received lots of luxury gifts from showbiz pals including ex Spice Girl Mel B.

The Leeds lass, 30, who now lives in Los Angeles, is offering to recommend child care once Geri flies back to the States.

Our mole added: “All of Geri’s friends are rallying around her now to make sure she is OK.

“Mel B and Geri have had their differences in the past but now they are looking to the future.”

The future’s bright, the future’s pink – and we’re betting it’ll contain a lot of Barbies.
