Geri to launch new single in live
GERI HALLIWELL and GEORGE MICHAEL have forgotten past differences and made up to join forces and host a concert raising money for charity reports the Sun newspaper
The pair had fallen out a couple of years ago but are now putting together the gig to be haeld at London’s Royal Albert Hall. Ms Halliwell the former Spice Girl and patron of Breast Cancer Care, has used her showbiz connections and influence to get other big name stars to perform for free.
As well as George and Geri, Jamelia and Blue will sing in the September 19th gig, to be broadcast by Channel Five, also Katie Melua who was recently involved in a security scare.
The concert, sponsored by Asda,part of the giant US Walmart group and is part of the Tickled Pink campaign, which aims to help various breast cancer causes. Geri is a supporter as she once had a breast cancer scare. The campaign is also a very personal one for George too as he lost his mother to the disease several years ago.
Geri Halliwell will use the gig as a showcase for her new single as well as sounding out her other new material. It was also reported that a friend said that Geri is desperate to get back on to the stage.
