I've compared Nochev's Novel Variants with the data of 5 samples from 1000 Genome Project (NA20866, HG1277, HG01515, NA18645, NA20532), 2 samples from Personal Genome Project (PGP70 , PGP157) and Goldschlager's BigY test. Some additional samples from 1000 Genome Project were studied to find an ancestral type. The results are in file. 50 Novel variants are really ancestral (SNP in Reference). For 13 Novels there are too many sequencing errors in studied samples to make a correct conclusion. 4 Novels we can place into the Z2103 tree (2 of them are already known). And 53 SNP are private for Nochev at the moment. This means that Nochev’s line separated from the other studied samples very long time ago. You should wait for more closely related samples. For comparison, the analysis of Goldschlager’s and PGP70 (both from L584+ line) results has shown that they share 43 new SNPs.
