Тестван е далечен роднина на британските крале Уиндзор, които, както знаете, са наследници по мъжка линия на принца-консорт ма кралица Виктория - Алфред Сакс Кобург Гота.
Той се явява някакъв прачичо на ншия Симеон, оттам трябва и той да е със същата хаплогрупа.
Въпросният се оказал положителен на следните SNP - R1b-U106 > Z381 > Z156 > Z305+ и по новата номенклатура се явява R1b1a2a1a1a3a1.
U106 е част от така наречения Atlantic Modal Haplotype и е най-разпространената група в Западна Европа.
Тъй като имаше въпрос за българите, по-голямата част R1b са очевидно от "кратките" подгрупи L23, разпространени основно в Анадола и на Балканите.
Малцината "Атлантици", вероятно са привнесени в по-нови времена с обратни миграции или "туристи".
Както виждам от изследването за Дракула има и един от Средноазиатския клон R1b1a1. Това вече може да е съмнение за "прабългари" и прочие степняци, защото другите са най-близо до арменците.
We have an SNP result (Z305+), which is the expected one, for the descendant of the Saxe-Coburg noble line. This line includes the British kings between Queens Victoria and Elizabeth. I quote a posting by Charles Moore, the administrator of the R1b-U106 Project:
As previously reported here, in his book "The King's Son", author Brad Michael Little http://www.the-kings-son.com/ tells the story of how he resolved his family mystery concerning his enigmatic grandfather. Brad ultimately used DNA to test his uncle, and finally, a cousin of King George V. Without spoiling the story, it turns out that the King's cousin is R1b-U106+, and he matches another patrilineal cousin who descends from Belgian King Leopold I, according to the various Royal genealogies.
So it can be said that these 2 samples "triangulate" to Franz, 1750-1806, Duke of Saxe-Coburg. The Belgian sample belongs to a man descended from King Leopold via a half-brother of the King's other son and successor, King Leopold II, who was succeeded by his brother's son King Albert I, who was succeeded by his son King Leopold III, who was succeeded by his sons King Baudoin, and the current King Albert II. Because there are relatively few generations involved here, it is reasonable to presume that these Kings of Belgium would match their patrilineal cousin (ie – that the fathers really were the fathers of the sons). We will be working behind the scenes to see if we can persuade the extension of the Belgian sample to 111 markers, and test it for the appropriate SNP.
The sample more closely related to King George V belongs to a man descended from Franz's son Ernest's son Prince Albert, husband of Queen Victoria, via a younger brother of their other son King Edward VII, who was succeeded by his son King George V, who was succeeded by his sons King Edward VIII, and King George VI, father of Queen Elizabeth II. Again, because there are only a few generations involved here, it is reasonable to presume that these Kings of Britain would match their patrilineal cousin.
The King's cousin's sample is pending its extension to 111 markers. Meanwhile, a significant SNP test result has arrived. Previously having tested R1b-U106+, we can now report that the King's cousin is R1b-U106 > Z381 > Z156 > Z305+.
The sample has tested positive for U106 and Z305, as was expected. It will be tested for Z306 and Z307 to make sure that this sample does not break the existing tie among those 3 SNPs. With respect to the groups below Z305, the sample has tested negative for L1 and P89.2. It will be tested for L782 in order to eliminate it. Finally, the sample is pending a result for L128. I retrieved my temporarily misplaced crystal ball for which I have become famous, and thoroughly analyzed the situation in order to determine whether or not this sample will be L128. I can therefore state unequivocally, that with respect to the question of whether this SNP will be L128+, the answer is that it is "too close to call".
By interesting coincidence, L128 has turned out to be a difficult SNP to test. I will be working with FTDNA to see what can be done about this.
The plot thickens. Ultimately, I believe that the Subclade of the Kings will be either Z305* or L128+.
