Ето каква статия прочетох във вчерашния брой на един торонтовски вестник засягащ състоянието и бъдещето на IT индустрията:
" High-Tech labour shortage predicted
After a year of massive job cuts that led to a surplus of high-tech workers, a a turnaround in the Ontario economy could mean the return of those dreaded words: labour shortage.
A study released yesterday by the Information Technology Association of Canada predicts that Ontario companies could soon be scrambling to find high-tech employees as the economic engine revs higher. According to the study, 38 000 new high-tech positions wil be created in 2002, but nearly 10 000 of those jobs could go unfilled because of a lack of qualified professionals.
The study, sponsored by Human Resources Development Canada, was based on surveys with 400 Ontario businesses, 45 companies in the software, hardware and high-tech services sectors, and 1 916 IT graduates."
