I am a bit puzzled. "Природолюбители" who shoot animals and kill fish?

Well, природолюбителите here don't do that. My neighbor, who is a self-proclaimed "nature-lover," practices something called catch and release. He catches the fish and releases it back into the water. Well, this is nice for my neighbor's conscience, but I am still thinking about the poor fish left with holes from the hooks in his mouth. BTW, this is the common fishing practice where I live. I've never seen anyone take anything home.
