И аз да изпея, че за изоставянето нямах предвид Монтесори училищата.
Тук преди кризата са се купували играчки на поразия, чуди ли са какво да си правят парите....Но, честен кръст, едно дете не съм видяла да си играе навън с конзола /освен в самолета за насам/. Ни на площадка, ни в кафене, на полянка...Колелета, футбол, книжка. Туй то. Има си в сайтовете правила за мобилни телефони и игри...
Mobile Phone / Electronic Games Policy
Introductory Statement
This policy was drawn up by the Staff of еди кое си училище in response to technological advances which have seen a significant increase in hand held electronic ‘gadgets’ amongst the school population over recent years.
Rationale
• I Pods, mobile phones, Game Boys, PSP’s, MP3’s etc. are intrusive and distracting in a school environment
• Strategies must be put in place to reduce the intrusiveness of unauthorized technology in a school situation
• Some electronic devices may be harmful due to frequent use
• Mobile phones may be used to conduct bullying campaigns
Relationship to the Characteristic Spirit School
The use of mobile phones and other electronic games contravenes the provision of a safe and secure school environment condusive to learning, which is central to the mission statement and ethos of еди кое си училище.
Aims
• To ensure a “technology free” school environment
• To lessen intrusions on and distractions to children’s learning
Procedures
The following are the guidelines for mobile phone / electronic games usage in the school:
• Children are not allowed the use of mobile phones / electronic games during school hours
• Pupils are not allowed bring mobile phones or games into school. All electronic gadgets are banned, even during after school activities.
• Any pupil who brings a mobile phone or electronic game to school risks having it confiscated and held in the Principals office until the school day is over.
• Children who need to contact home during school hours may do so through the school secretary using the school landline phone.
Staff
• Staff personal calls are normally confined to break times.
• Staff have access to the school landline if urgent calls need to be made to parents.
• Classroom supervision is usually organized if a class teacher has to contact other professionals or outside agencies in relation to a particular child.
• In cases of urgency, a staff member should use discretion in making a phone call.
• Incoming personal calls should be reserved for urgent matters.
• Texting from a mobile phone follow the rules in relation to making and receiving calls.
Roles and Responsibilities
All staff share in the co-ordination and implementation of this policy.
Success Criteria
This policy is monitored on an ongoing basis and amendments added as new technology comes on stream.
Communication
This policy has been communicated to parents and is available in the School Office
Ratification & Review
This policy has been ratified by the Board of Management 2007 and will be reviewed each year as ‘New technological inventions’interfere with the learning environment of the school.
