There is a hierarchy of Inner Authority among the centers. It begins with the Solar Plexus, which is the source of the emotional wave. If you have this center colored in on your chart, you are "emotionally defined". Because this wave is a deeply ingrained chemical part of you, and because it is never still but constantly taking you forward, it is often difficult to feel clear about your decisions. As you learn to be patient with this process, to embrace both the highs and lows of your wave before jumping into any important decision, you will access the deeps of your own life. You should never allow others to rush you into making the "big" decisions in your life.
Next in the hierarchy is the Sacral Center. 70% of the World's population are Sacrally defined, which means that if yours is defined your embracing aura is waiting to be asked, waiting for opportunities or experiences to come toward you so that you can respond. Through your response you will know what is correct for you. It also means that if you do not wait to respond, if you insist in moving toward something or someone (called 'initiating'), you will probably meet with resistance and end up Frustrated instead of Satisfied.
The Splenic Center is the oldest center in our BodyGraph and connects us to the animal kingdom. As an existential center of Inner Authority, it only 'speaks' once in the present instant through how things "smell" or feel to you. That includes those little instinctive or intuitive sensations that alert you to immediate danger or special opportunities. Its little alerts will take you safely into the future, but only moment by moment by moment.
The Ego or Heart as a Center of Inner Authority is closely tied into the health of your heart, thymus gland, gall bladder and stomach. This Center is about will power, courage, self esteem and success on the material plane. You will hear yourself saying "I, me, mine" a lot - and in point of fact, your heart needs to hear you say that to remain strong. Unlike the Sacral, the heart cannot sustain physical work for long periods of time. It works hard, but in spurts. This means that you need to exercise some control over how your energies are utilized, allowing plenty of time for your heart to rest. You will be guided by what have the will to do and you will have the energy to fulfill your commitment - if it is correct for you.
If you have a defined G Center as your Inner Authority, what you say and do will be guided by the principles, behaviors and direction of your Higher Self. Listen to what you say as you discuss a pending decision with others. In this way, your self will come to a point of clarity upon which to base your decision.
For Reflectors, following the Lunar Cycle brings clarity over time. You (and Mental Projecters) also benefit from talking through decisions with others - but you are not asking for their advice. By externalizing what you are thinking over a period of time, you hear yourself coming to the point of clarity. Suddenly, you just "know".
YOUR MIND AS AN OUTER AUTHORITY
Once your Mind is content with its place as a passenger in the back seat of the vehicle, it becomes the wise and gifted Outer Authority for others that it is designed to be. When the passenger is finally content to look out the window, and when resistance drops away by relying on your Inner Authority and following your Strategy, your Signature quietly emerges (Peace, Satisfaction, Success or Surprise.) New levels of self awareness are opened to you, and life takes on a refreshing ease and wonder and joy in the mundane. That reward, that 'coming to yourself' for the sake of sharing yourself with others, is a refinement of your most valued and valuable asset - your authentic self.
