множество пъти се е коментирала тази тема и тук и на много други места.
Всичко е въпрос на предпочитания и умения и в частност - какво смяташ да правиш с тези пограмки.

Everything Is Possible

E какво ще каже Валентин? Той както е видно вече се изказа по горе. Е тука долу попаднах на едно изказване, който знае английски да го чете:

I do not know what the fuss is about whether anybody using any platform for
coreldraw. As per my working knowledge (and mind you, it is a full 10 yrs.
of experience), there is no other graphics application software that can
even come close to the speed at which you can work on CorelDraw. If you can't
work on mac, use a pc.
Illustrator is damn slow. On the whole, you can just zip around in
coreldraw. Here are a few key pros of coreldraw:
1) Fully customizable keyboard shortcuts without the compulsary use of the
annoying 'ctrl' key combination saving a whole lot of time if you are a
power user since you work with one hand on the mouse and the other on the
keyboard synchronizing the design process like you are playing a piano.
2) No need to fully have a perfect placement of design since you can use the
print engine to scale the drawing at the time of print, easily fit the
design to page (very good when you want to fax directly from the pc).
3) You can always create the perfect final file since the separations dialog
in print preview shows the no. of colours used in the design. If there are
extra colours used in the design, you can always use the find and replace
command and convert colours to your preferred palettes. No such
extravagancies in Illus.
3) Can send pure rgb colours to an inkjet printer (not availabble in
illustrator). The results coming out the printer using coreldraw are far
superior than using illustrator. You have to use a colour space profile in
Illustrator compulsarily.
4) Working in coreldraw is as fast as you can get. Coreldraw 9 was the
fastest. 11 is much better than 10. The speed of your design process using
illustrator is nowhere near.
5) The best zoom out. Instantly zoom to the last view. Not like the slow
Illustrator zoom out.
6) You can preview the perfect colours for pantones as both rgb and cmyk
colours can be previewed on screen. Illustrator does not give you that
freedom.
7) Multi-page artworks.
8) Rasterize the artworks or elements with or without using the icc profile.
Very handy if you want to print the artwork on an inkjet printer which uses
rgb input.
9) The most important tool - Eyedropper of coreldraw allows you to know the
colour at points in gradients and bitmaps. Very good if you are using
artworks for producing colour seps for high relief depth plates.
10) Nodes in gradients allow you to precisely place the starting and ending
points of gradients.
11) Can show colours in cmyk using an eyedropper if the elements in other
colour palettes is powerclipped.

Pros of Illustrator (also a wish list for cdr)
1) Most important - You can save the file in secure pdf while maintaining
complete formatting capability. Allows you to have the file on server and
keep it secure enough.
2) Overprint previews.
3) Global colours. Very handy if you want to manually separate a file.
4) Outline strokes and convert text to curves using effects menu. Allows you
to open files perfectly even if no fonts are present while at the same time
edit text in those computers where the fonts are installed.
5) Linked files are being shown at high res. on the screen.

Wishlist no 2
1) A node selected in mesh tool should update the colour docker with that
colour.
2) Paragraph text should be able to have condensed text (like artistic text)
and even show the percentages like in Illustrator.

Az predlagam predi naistina pak da se zapo4ne, da obob6tim ne6tata. Tova koeto pi6e Vallentin e verno, no SAMO DO NJAKYDE. Li4no az izpolzvam AI, NO:
verno e 4e na Corel po-lesno i po-byrzo se risuva, ima tools, koito sa po-dobri i po-razumno izmisleni (abe za risuvane e po-dobyr)
OBA4E za predpe4at..... V tova angliskoto ot gore ima i mnoo golemi gluposti. Separations na Corel ve4e pisah kakvo e (njakyde po drugite temi) - samoobijstvo.Corel (za razlika ot AI) ne moje da pravi cvetootdelki. Osven tova cvetovite profili sa pylna boza. Ima o6te mnogo ne6ta, ama da ne zadylbo4avame.

Вижте сега аз кво ще кажа за себе си и сввоето творчество... (много ме кефи да казавам "своето творчество"). Значи, въпреки че съм верен потребител на адобиту, не мога, ама хич не се разбирам с илюстратуръ. Затова си бачкам на Корел, тука фанахме една тема с един пич, че сме сложили шопските профили за цветове на корела и той засега се държи добре... та така аз си бачкам на корела, и после проверка в илюстратуръ и аре марш на печат... в кларка.

Пусти профили, бат' Венци я кажи кои точно профили си сложил и как точно, , че аз досега съм ползвал само вградените на Корел и ми се иска да пробвам това което вие сте направили, че ми звучи много неустоимо :))

Значи мен, никога не сме били по-съгласни по тия въпроси да знаеш :)) Евала!

Иначе онова, което пишеше онзи агнлисйклия мен за сепарейшъните и на мен ми се видя подозрително, но все пак явно говори от опит.
