Нужно добавить, что к моменту подачи протеста Крамник вел 3-1, правда, главным образом из-за очень нестабильной игры своего оппонента, а не благодаря демонстрации какого-то подозрительно сверхчеловеческого таланта.
Ирония этой трагической ситуации в том, что в последние полтора года Топалов сам был предметом слухов и даже публичных обвинений в жульничестве с использованием компьютера.
Убедительных доказательств нет,
ноговорит, что это единственное возможное объяснение внезапного восхождения Топалова в мировом рейтинге после того, как я ушел из спорта.
